신천장로/권사 투표 가이드라인

1. 투표 2주 전 공지: 3월 2일(주일)

   신령직 공천위원회의 추천을 받은 후보자 명단과 교회 이력을 포스터를 통해 공지한다.

2. 투표일: 3월 16일 주일 (1, 2부, EM 각 예배 후)

3. 투표권자: 체리힐제일교회 “등록 교인”
         * 등록교인이란? 세례 받은 자로 2025년 1월 18일 이전 등록자

4. 투표 전 투표 참석인원을 반드시 점검한다

5. 투표 방법: 각 후보자 이름에 찬성 0, 반대는 X 표를 하여 투표함에 넣는다.

6. 피택: 시무장로/권사가 되기 위해서는 신령직 공천위원회의 천거로 신령직 교인총회 참석인원 중 투표권자의 2/3 이상의 찬성표를 받아야 한다.

7.개표 및 발표:

1)  3월 16일(주일) 2부 투표 마감 후 사랑관에서 개표

   1부 투표하신 분들도 관심을 가지고 개표 시간에 참관 할 수 있다.

2) 기권표와 무효표는 전체 투표수에 카운트 하지 않는다.

   무효표의 경우는

ㄱ. 0 또는 X 표기가 없거나, 다른 표기를 하실 경우

ㄴ. 빈 칸이 있을 경우, 후보자 중 비어있는 칸의 해당 후표자의 표만 무효가 되며, O,X가 표기된 다른표는 전체투표수에 포함된다.

 
8. 개표자: 시무장로님들 / 개표 참관: 명예 장로님 중 두 분

9. 개표 결과 발표: 2/3 이상의 찬성표를 받으신 후보 이름만 발표한다.

New Elder/Deacon Voting Guidelines

1. Announcement Two Weeks Before the Vote: Sunday, March 2

The list of candidates recommended by the Spiritual Office Nomination Committee, along with their church office positions, will be announced via posters.

2. Voting Date: Sunday, March 16 (After the 1st, 2nd, and EM services)
3. Eligible Voters: Professing Members of Cherry Hill First Church

• Who is a professing member? A baptized individual who registered before January 18, 2025.

Mark ‘O’ for approval or ‘X’ for disapproval next to each candidate’s name, then place the ballot in the voting box.

6. Election Criteria

To be elected as a serving elder or deacon, a candidate must be nominated by the Spiritual Office Nomination Committee and receive at least two-thirds (2/3) approval from the eligible voters present at the Spiritual Office General Assembly.

7. Ballot Counting & Announcement

a.       Ballot Counting Schedule

              i.      The ballot count will take place in the Family Center after the conclusion of the 2nd service’s voting on Sunday, March 16.

            ii.      Those who voted after the 1st service are also welcome to observe the counting process.

b.       Handling of Abstentions and Invalid Votes

              i.      Abstentions and invalid ballots will not be counted in the total vote count.

            ii.      Invalid ballots include:

1.       Ballots without an ‘O’ or ‘X’ mark, or with any other markings.

2.       If there are blank spaces on the ballot, only the votes for the candidates in those blank sections will be considered invalid. However, the votes with ‘O’ or ‘X’ markings will still be counted in the total.

8. Ballot Counters & Observers

• Ballot Counters: Serving elders
• Ballot Counting Observers: Two honorary elders

• Only the names of candidates who receive at least two-thirds (2/3) approval will be announced.
