오늘은 2025년 체리힐제일교회 비전총회의 날입니다. 이 비전총회는 교회가 새해를 시작하며 한 해의 목회 행사 및 부서 계획과 예산을 공식적으로 발표하는 중요한 날입니다. 이 날은 단순히 계획을 공유하는 것을 넘어, 공동체의 비전을 함께 나누고 공유하는 자리로서 큰 의미를 가집니다. 다만, 시간을 절약하고 효율적인 전달을 위해, 칼럼으로 미리 설명드리오니 참고 부탁드립니다.

 

비전총회의 주요 내용:

새해 목회 행사 계획 발표: 한 해 동안 진행될 예배, 교육, 봉사, 선교 등 다양한 사역 행사에 대한 구체적인 계획과 정보를 발표합니다. 이를 통해 교우 여러분께서는 교회 활동 전반을 파악하시고 참여 계획을 세우실 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 추후 공지될 예정입니다

교인 명부 및 임원/위원회 명단 발표: 작년 교회 총회에서 승인된 교인 명부와 함께, 한 해 동안 교회를 이끌어갈 임원 및 위원회 명단을 발표합니다. 이 내용은 교회 총회 보고서에 이미 보고된 바 있습니다. 이는 교회의 조직 구성과 운영 체계를 명확히 하는 것이며, 모든 교우 여러분의 이해와 참여, 협력, 그리고 기도를 부탁드립니다.

사역을 위한 재정 지침 안내: 각 사역 부서들이 활동을 진행하는 데 부서장과 팀장에게 필요한 재정 지침이 안내됩니다. 이는 효율적인 재정 운영을 돕고, 각 부서의 활동을 지원하는 중요한 역할을 합니다.

신령직 직분에 대한 규정: 글로벌감리교회에서 정한 규정을 체리힐제일교회에 맞게 수정하여, 작년 총회에서 승인 받은 규정을 알려드립니다. 이 규정에 따라서 새로운 신령직을 세울 것입니다.  그래서 2025년 신령직 직분 명단은 목회계획서안에 아직 포함되지 않았으며, 추후에 발표하겠습니다. 

교회 부서 활동 정보 및 안내: 교회 내 여러 부서들의 활동 내용과 방향이 소개됩니다. 이를 통해 교인들은 각 부서의 역할을 이해하고, 관심 있는 분야에 적극적으로 참여할 수 있도록 돕습니다.  물론 팬데

이후에 아직 정상화가 되지 않은 부서들도 있고 프로그램도 있습니다. 

재정보고 및 예산 발표: 작년 한 해 동안의 교회 재정을 보고하고 또 2025년 필요한 예산이 발표됩니다. 이는 교인들의 헌금으로 운영되

는 교회의 재정이 어떻게 사용될지 투명하게 공개하는 과정입니다.

비전총회는 교회 공동체가 “예수를 바라보는 교회” 란 목표를 이루기 위해서 한 방향으로 나아가기 위한 중요한 첫걸음입니다. 이 날 발표되는 내용들은 교회의 모든 제직과 임원과 성도님이 공유해야 할 핵심 정보이며, 교회의 성장과 발전을 위한 밑거름이 된다고 확신합니다. 또한, 투명한 정보 공개를 통해 교인들의 신뢰를 얻고, 공동체 의식을 함양하는 데에도 중요한 역할을 합니다.

Vision Conference

 

Today marks the 2025 Vision Conference for our church. This is an important annual event where we officially present our ministry plans, departmental initiatives, and budget for the coming year. More than just a presentation of plans, this conference offers a valuable opportunity for our community to connect and share our collective vision for the future. I understand that our English Ministry (EM) held a similar meeting recently, and I shared my sermon and ministry direction with them last Sunday. To ensure we use our time efficiently and communicate effectively, we've provided a preliminary overview in the following column. We encourage you to review it. This information pertains to the Korean Ministry, and we warmly invite you to join us in our ministry efforts.

 

Main points of the Vision Conference:

 

·         Report of the New Year's Ministry Plan: We will be sharing specific plans and information regarding various ministry areas, including worship, education, service, and missions. This will give our members a comprehensive overview of church activities and help them plan how they can participate. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.

 

·         Church Membership and the Directory of Officers and Committees: Along with the Church Membership Directory approved at last year's church conference meeting, there is a list of the officers and committees who will be leading our church this year. This information was previously shared in the Church Conference Report. This announcement clarifies our church's organizational structure and operations. We ask for your understanding, participation, cooperation, and prayers as we move forward together.

 

·         Financial Guidelines for Ministries: Each ministry is provided with the necessary financial guidelines to support its activities. These guidelines are designed to help ministry leaders manage finances effectively and ensure proper stewardship of resources.

 

·         New Regulations Regarding Deacons, Exhort Stewards, Elders : The regulations approved last year by the Korean American Global Methodist Church have been adapted for First Global Methodist Church of Cherry Hill. Based on these updated regulations, we plan to establish new spiritual leadership roles and will be elected. Therefore, the list of individuals appointed to these new roles for 2025 is not yet finalized and will be announced at a later date.

 

·         Information and Guidance on the Activities of Church Departments: We will be sharing information about the activities and direction of various church ministries. This will help members understand each ministry's purpose and identify opportunities for involvement. We recognize that some ministries and programs are still in the process of restarting after the pandemic.

 

·         Financial report and 2025 budget: We will present a financial report for the past year and the budget for 2025. This transparent process shows how church funds, generously given through member offerings, are being used to support our ministries and operations.

 

The Vision Conference marks an important first step for our church community as we move forward together to achieve our vision of becoming a "F.Y.E.O.J." church. The information shared at the conference is crucial for all members, leaders, and officers. We believe it will lay a strong foundation for our church's growth and development. This open communication also strengthens trust within our community and fosters a deeper sense of unity.
